Choosing a version

You pick the Meilisearch version when creating an instance. CelerSearch Cloud instances run recent versions, so all current plugin features work out of the box.

Applying upgrades

Newer Meilisearch versions are rolled out by CelerSearch and can be applied to your instance from the portal whenever you're ready.

Safety snapshot

A safety snapshot is taken before every upgrade, so your data is protected — see Backups.

Feature gates

Some plugin features require a minimum Meilisearch version:
